WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Join a team of next generation thinkers! The Digital Creative team is a highly creative and multi-faceted team that provides a high level of visual output including animations, stills, live, and virtual presentation material, filming, and motion graphics using industry-recognised software and processes. These creative outputs are used to support Design in achieving gateways, Design Forums, and various other high-level Design reviews throughout the wider business. The team also has the responsibility for delivering externally facing assets in the form of Photo-realistic images, Launch animations, Web Configurator, Filming, Photography, Audio, and Graphical Assets.

As a Lead Digital Artist, you will join the newly created Film and Photography team; working as a team to deliver high-quality film, photography, Audio, and Digital assets for the Creative function, which covers both Brand and Vehicle Design on both internally and externally facing projects.

 


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include creating high-quality film, Photography, Audio and Digital Assets, working in a transparent and professional manner, supporting all design disciplines, whilst maintaining a flexible, pro-active approach. You will identify potential process or system improvements where applicable and attend Design Studio programme start-up meetings for current programme awareness and involvement and relay this information back to the Design Visualisation Manager and the relevant sub-teams within Digital Creative. You will also achieve one’s SPR objectives, interact with key disciplines to achieve the required deliverable, and manage supporting Programme Trackers and BOMs, updating documentation as required. Other responsibilities will include, coaching of other team members and the wider design studio in best practice visualisation utilising the tools available in JLR. The ideal candidate will be self-initiated daily whilst responding to the requirements of the Design Visualisation Managers, Designers, Design Managers and Design Directors.

 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 


Essential:

  • Strong level of experience in the creation of Visual Stimulus assets.
  • Strong level of experience using relevant software (Davinci Resolve, Audition, Capture, and Adobe Creation Suite)
  • Understanding of Video/Still/Audio Content Creation and editing/VFX.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Material Creation, Videography, Photography, and Sound.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong IT / Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
